The Truth About Backlinks Inner Circle Review

For the World  Wide Web, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is like water to a plant. For SEO work to be successful on a website, you need both inbound and outbound links. Back links are also referred to as inbound links and are submitted to other sites. There is a company that knows the importance of links and according to Backlinks Inner Circle Review, they do this well. They stress the importance of back links to reach higher rankings in search engines. The more links on other websites, the more credibility with search engines and that means the higher one will be seen in  search engine results.

This company will recommend a marketing  strategy  that includes efforts to obtain more popularity for links. They build back links that are of quality information and that are related to the company website. Search engines will not place a lot of weight on links that are not related to the specific website. There is no use linking to car tires when your website is all about speedboats. A site with only a small number of quality back links, will position itself  higher for targeted keywords. Sites with several unrelated links will not have a good rating. This is where the experts will assist a  company to get the keywords and links right. There are various ways in which they will assist a company to obtain  back links for their website.  Some of these methods are done free while others will cost money. The free options are to place the website on a large number of directories that are available on the Internet.

They have knowledge of the reputable directory sites and will use those to ensure the website will have search engine favor. Link exchange is another method that they will apply to a company website. This is when a webmaster creates a link on their website, which points to the site of other webmasters. One-way links are more advantageous as search engines will ignore two-way links and irrelevant links.  Webmasters sometimes control several websites and some are not even related to the other. Backlink Inner Circle is aware of  this and will eliminate any problems relating to IP address conflicts. This happens when the same IP addresses are picked up more than once on the same website. A search engine will  regard this as duplication and ignore one or all of these links. One of the best ways to build links is to use article directories.  These sites contain a huge amount of articles. They allows one to publish articles together with links in a  resource box. These directories require quality content, they approve and publish the content and in return provide an appropriate category for the website and provide the links.

Another method is to post comments in forums and blogs. Most often, these websites already carry extremely successful links and SEO optimization, therefore the moment a company name appears in one of  these pages, it will be displayed quickly and very high in search engine results. Backlinks Inner Circle Review knows this all too well and is available to assist  companies in all of the  above-mentioned strategies.

San Francisco Internet Marketing: Continuing Death of Yellow Pages

Recognizing the continuing decline of the use of Yellow Page Directories, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee recently signed a bill to ban the unsolicited distribution of Yellow Pages in the city.

Under the law, which which won't go into effect for a year, companies can't leave Yellow Page directories at the front door of homes and businesses without prior permission. The distribution of white pages is not affected. Since this is a pilot project, the regulation will expire after three years from enactment unless renewed. It's estimated that more than 1.6 million Yellow Page directories are delivered annually in San Francisco. That's almost two directories for every man, woman and child in San Francisco… and nearly five for each residence.

Do you think what San Francisco is doing is appropriate?

San Francisco Online Marketing: What Exactly Is “backlinking”

san francisco seo marketingThe other day I was at one of my favorite burrito places here in San Francisco and was talking about internet marketing with the owner. When I mentioned the word "backlinking", I saw a confused look on his face. I suddenly realized that the term "backlinking" while clear to me, was Greek to the business owner.

This lead me to write this post today. Some of you, depending on your internet marketing experience, may not understand the term "backlinking" so I'm going to define it for you. To put it simply, backlinking is the process of getting a link from one website to another. For those of you that want more, here is a more descriptive definition I found on the internet: "Backlinking is the process of creating links to your website. Each link means that someone is trying to inform others about some interesting page they have found.

Therefore, the number of links pointing to your site is a measure of popularity or reputation of the page. The number and quality of backlinks is the basis of the PageRank algorithm used by Google's web search. Backlinking is very popular and the main reason for this popularity is the fact that it returns relevant results for every possible search phrase, brings you more clients and more sales." Actually that sounds like Greek to me. 😉

San Francisco Internet Marketing: Are the Yellow Pages Outdated?

Here's another sign that the Yellow Pages are outdated. The Yellow Pages now have a site you can go to stop delivery of their directory. They call it their opt-out webite. However, if you go there, it appears they are trying to convince you not to stop delivery.

What do you think? Are the Yellow Pages outdated?

San Francisco Internet Marketing: Effect of format change in Google Places listings

It appears in addition to changing the placement of Google Places listings, Google also changed its ranking algorithm. Here's an excerpt that was reported to me by an associate: So Google changed the format of the Google Places listings – but what about the order (ranking)?  Did Google change the ranking algorithm too?  You bet your bottom dollar they did!!!  In the last Q&A session, someone mentioned that  Google was placing a higher value on the URL of the business owner.  To see if that was the case for my clients, I asked the account reps for 5 of my clients to give me a before & after picture (you can see the results below).  The numbers came in – but what does it mean?  Here is what I am seeing:       a.  Before the change, it didn't really matter if the business had a website.  Now the website SEO ranking seems to determine the Google Places ranking.       b.  Sites that ranked low in the old Google Places were catapulted to the first page via the new Google Places listings – IF the business' web site was ranking high in the organic results previous to the change.       c.   Sites that ranked high in the old Google Places have "dissapeared" if they did not have a website.  They are still showing in Google Places – if you click on the map – but they are not showing in the first few pages of the Google Places results.  Don't panic!  If you were building citations/reviews on the Google Places listing and backlinks to the site then you are going to be fine. If not – if you'd only been concentrating on the Google Places listing then you need to adjust your strategy to include a web site!

ATTENTION Local Businesses Doing Internet Marketing in the San Francisco Bay Area

Why did Google change the location of their Google Places map? I informed my San Francisco Bay Area clients a few days ago, but look at the change Google has made in the placement of their Google Places map. It's in the right column now, right above their Adsense Ads.

It appears it might be a strategy to make their Adsense ads more predominant. I personally like the old 7-Box look, but we can also take advantage of the new look. This new look might be a test because it's not universal yet. On the other hand, it might just be part of a rollout. Contact us if you want to take advantage of this change in marketing your website.
